80/90W Valvoline synthetic in the diff and gearbox for me! Synthetic
lubricants reduce friction by a factor of 4 according to an old Road & Track
article. I use synthetic anywhere I can - Castrol Syntech in engine.

Speaking of oil, what are your thoughts on the type/weight of oil for
the rear end/differential? I've heard people using everything from 90
weight to ATF. Do we have that many options and what are the advantages
of one over the other?
