Hi. My stripped, sanded and varnished and almost beautiful dash is sitting
in my house. The reason it's "almost" beautiful is because of my tach. The
PO replaced the tach with one from another triumph or another year. The
gauge itself is fine, but the ring that protrudes a tad from the dash is
not. It was black but I scraped the paint off it (the speedo was chrome).
Now at least it's silver - but it doesn't shine like all my chrome gauge
rings.
So my query: does anyone have a chrome tach ring they would like to sell me?
Or can I buy this through a dealer somewhere?
Also: the PM (previous mechanic) of my car put the new rubber wiper bases on
that I had purchased but mysteriously lost the silver squirty things. So,
again, does anyone have two silver squirty things they'd like to sell?
