If it's more or less essential that the radiator be rodded out (no cash for replacement, no other available, core definitely plugged), have the _top_ header tank removed, not the bottom one, because the upper surface of the bottom one is where the most trash and salt and dirt will collect. If that one is left undisturbed, there's a better chance of maintaining the integrity of the radiator. Cheers, all. -- Michael D.
