This is from Tommi Makinen, multiple-time world rally champion, on learning to drive: "There were many cars I learned to drive on but none of them I could use on roads. They were on our farm. I had some little Fiats, a Triumph was another. It was a very special Triumph Herald. It had a bigger engine. We built it up for ice-racing. That was the start of it all... --Phil |
