This morning I noticed that the trunk was a little stiff when opening.
When I opened it and examined the left hand hinge, I found that there is
a pin with a roller on it and that part of the spring mechanism rests on.
This assembly is now bent down and will surely break if I do not figure
out how to repair it.
Has anyone else had a problem with this mechanism?
Does anyone have a fix suggestion or does someone have a good used left
hand hinge for a MK2?
The part book does not clearly show the item, but I have posted a digital
