Paul,

I fixed mine by replacing the window guides.  I bought new guides from J.C.
Whitney and transfered the mounting brackets by drilling out the old rivets
and pop riveting them onto the new ones.

The easier approach (although more costly) is just buy new ones.  TRF sells
them ready to bolt in as does other typical sources of parts.
