Rocker ratio is not figured into the calculation. Think of it this
way--when one presses the pushrod end of the rocker against the top of
the pushrod, it cannot move. Can the clearance still be adjusted? Yes,
of course, by turning the adjusting screw in the rocker back and
forth--the clearance is between the end of the valve stem and the end of
the adjusting screw, not the end of the rocker. Therefore, setting valve
lash is independent of rocker ratio. One full turn is 0.0416", so
0.0104" is 1/4 turn, or 90 degrees.
Cheers.
