hi collective wisdom of the net (semiformal greeting #12),
i am getting an audible click from the right (drivers side here) rear hub on
my herald. i suspect it the hub moving on the taper.
i fixed it about 16 years ago (obviously didn't do it properly) but now it
has returned. from memory i replaced the whole half shaft (if you can have
a whole half)
is there a fix, home remedy or otherwise, to stop this before it becomes
terminal?
i have a set in the shed but the spares will run out eventually.
