This is based on my TR4 experience... having owned a TR6 the steering is about
the same.
You can line it all up in a couple of ways.
If the steering wheel is straight then you can move the turn signal cam on the
steering shaft to get it lined up right. It will be a bit awkward unless you
pull the shaft out a bit. You can do this by loosening the joint next to the
firewall.
If the steering wheel is also cocked off center to match the off center of the
cam... you can loosen the fitting where the lower steering shaft enters the
steering rack and move it one tooth in the right diection.
