I just go to my local windscreen glass installer. It is quick, painless,
not very expensive and the work is done by someone who knows the
materials and their charactericts well. I am not an experienced expert
on windscreen glazing and always manage to get black goo everywhere while
things didn't fit right and squirm about.
Some things I farm out because they are too much trouble to learn how to
do something done once every 20 years or so.
