Per the Triumph Service Instruction Manual for TR2's & 3's, Section G "Front
Suspension and Steering", Page 6, Fig 3, the dimension is 7.68" and is
measured to the centerline of each ball joint body, or more specifically to
the centerline of the grease fitting on each ball joint body.

I know cause I've just assembled a pair with new joints.

In my repair manual there is a outer tie rod measurment.  From what point to
what point should the meaurement be taken?
