You are probably not going to like it but I drilled two holes under the bolt beads just large enough to accept the socket. works great and doesn't weaken crossmember that much. Especially handy if you are going to remove rad. on a regular basis (race car) This is an old Tr mech trick. You can also set up a bolt w/a nut on top of the bracket but under the rad, install the rad and then put another nut on top of it and only remove the second nut when you remove the rad in the future. |
