Actually, IMHO, if the car is very complete and original, and isn't yet to
the "polish & wax the engine compartment stage", you would probably do better
in Concours than in people's choice. There are usually a lot less cars in
Concours, and theoretically even a not so hot looking car may do well if it
is all there. I know some will probably disagree with this, but I have seen
some fairly rough looking cars get trophies in Concours, who probably
wouldn't have done well with the vagaries of people's choice ballotting.
Having said that, I would also guess there will be some museum piece TR6's in
Lake City in Concours. So there will be plenty of competition.
The main thing is to enjoy the show.
