Cameron,

I'm about 6'2" and don't get a sore foot from the accelerator
pedal. Do you mean you have to bend your foot back to a more
acute angle than 90 degrees (between shin and top of foot)?
If so, I can't really see that happening with the pedal setup
on my TR6, as the brake pedal sticks up further than the 
accelerator pedal, and I've got plenty of room for my legs in
there. Are you sure your seat is as far back as it can go? 
Sometimes the carpet can get jammed in the seat tracks and prevent
the seat sliding all the way back - the back of my seat just
about touches the parcel shelf...
