Hello Listers,
The good news is that my TR3 is basically (finally) on the road. I'd
hesitate to use the word "finished", but it sure is fun to finally be able
to drive it. It'll be making its debut appearance at the LA British Car Show
next Sunday.
Now the bad news. As my confidence in the car has increased, I've been
driving it a bit harder. When I take a right hand turn with speed, a
terrible clanking (with maybe some rattling adding to it) comes from the
right rear. Is this likely to be the hub bearings? What else should I do to
help diagnose the problem. The hubs and the differential are about the only
things on the car that I did not tear apart during the restoration.
Thanks for any advice!
