TR6 Front Disc Brakes

Hi, Perhaps another silly question, but I am a Novice. I pulled off fron 
front brake and I guess the disk to replace a lug bolt today. On the inside 
of the disk there is a groove running around the middle of the plate. I 
assume this should not be. Am I correct?

(BTW ~ None of those "WORDSWERTHS" hardware needed. You guys are RIGHT
