Cliff,
I had a problem with welds not penetrating and leaving little beads all over.
The problem was the 120V power out in the garage. Not all house wiring
will run a 120V welder or air compressor. I fixed the problem by making a
new circuit with a 20 amp breaker and 12 gauge wire to a 20 amp outlet in
the garage. My compressor jumps to life and the welder sizzles like bacon!
