Thanks for all your good suggestions. I fear the problem is in the combustion chambers, where I probably did a half-a.....d job grinding down the rough edges. Before I sink into total despair, however, i will do what many suggest....try retarding the timing and leaning the mixture. And maybe simply rely on the in-gear shut-off if I can't rectify the problem. I can't face tearing off the head at this point. I'll kep you posted |
