I joined the broken axle club several weeks ago when the left rear stub axle
on my TR6 broke during the VSCDA Blackhawk Farms race. Having decided on a
solution to the problem with the help of my fellow FOT members (billet hubs
and Corvair parts), re-building is currently underway - hopefully in time
for the Fall Festival at Road America.
Fortunately the only significant damage to the car was the destruction of
the left rear fender as the wheel departed the car. UNfortunately, TRF does
not currently have these in stock.
Anybody have a new or used TR6 left rear fender they'd like to sell, or know
someone who does?
