Don't worry, Mike. If you're trying to achieve a restoration that reflects
originality,
I'd guess you got a hole in one! They all had gobs of orange peel when they
were new so
don't let this cause you a loss of sleep. It was a good idea on your part to
try out the
less visible areas first to regulate the 'peel flow' - just make sure you have
less peel
coming through the spray nozzle when you do the topsides. Two or three big
lumps on the
front and two at the back (in any location) will be just fine. You'll then have
a car to
entirely satisfy the most pedantic concours judge <G>
