Dennis,
If the pin is not in there, you may have trouble aligning the arm with
the hole, but if you just want to replace the pin, you can use a long
punch (from below) to drive out the old one.  Leaving the punch in place
to keep the pieces aligned and install the new pin from above.

But the bushings are pressed in from inside the housing and if they are
to be replaced, there is no way around removing the gearbox.
