License plate restoration

Has anyone had any success or experience (good or bad) with any license
plate restorers?  I have the original California black plate (a 1963
plate - they issued new plates to everyone in CA in '63) for my TR3-A,
but the car was hit in the rear end sometime back, and the plate is kind
of crunched.  It would be nice to have it looking good when I return it
to the car after all these years.

Anyone ever done business with these guys?
