Hello everyone, new to the list. Recently I got my TR3 engine back in the car after a rebuild, (new sleeves, pistons, head, etc.) fired her up, and have a horrific leak out the rear of it. Thinking I had misaligned the aluminum rear seal, I just ordered a new stock type seal, and lower end gasket set. Anyone have any tips for this second attempt at reasonable oiltightness? Any trick to this installation? Thanks, Shane Sherman, '60 sunbeam Alpine '59 Triumph TR3A |
