After reviewing photos of the TR4A on the internet, I'm curious about the colors
used for the world emblem on the TR4A bonnet.
It seems that the TR4A world emblem on the bonnet of cars in pictures I've seen
uses a dark red color for the continents and light blue for the oceans. However,
my TR4A has what I believe to be the original world emblem and has silver
continents and light blue for the oceans. I need to replace mine since the
plastic is cracking.
I know the hub cap ornament changed from the TR4 (red continents) to the TR4A
(silver continents) and that the bonnet ornament changed from the shield to the
world emblem.
Were both color schemes used?
Has anybody purchased a replacement recently from the big three or elsewhere?
What color was it?
Which is correct?
What do you have or what have you seen?
I searched the archives for this one and it isn't specifically addressed.
