Fred,
You can check this out by turning the motor over on the starter, with the
outlet line from the pump body pumping into a container rather than the
carb(s). If you're getting fuel then your pump and fuel delivery is Ok and
you can begin to tear into the carbs, float bowl, and all that good stuff.
