George:

I don't have the Moss parts, but the TRF items. They are as in "A" with
the seam opening (ID) just under 1/4 inch. Again they are TRF, and they are
nearly 10 years old so they may not be the same at all. I don't know about
originality, but they look great and not at all cheesy. Actually you see
very little of them once installed. One thing to watch for, apparently the
manufacturer simply cuts a flat sheet and folds the stainless steel. There
is no treatment of the cut edges and they can be VERY sharp. Cleaning the
car I carved fingers several times and will someday stop being lazy and
remove them and round off the razor edges.

One unrelated note to those of us that live in Pennsylvania. I finally
got
my "vanity" plate and the letter indicates "YOU MUST USE THIS PLATE NOW". I
had TR3, in the old style of blue letters on a yellow background with
Pennsylvania at the top and Keystone State at the bottom. Simply good
looking plate. I got my new registration in April and applied the sticker
and though I would be allowed to use the plate until next April. Not so.
The new, and very ugly, plate came with a new sticker and the demand that it
be put on the car at once!!!!!

My apologies if this is received twice....
------------------------------------------------------------

Who among you has used the sill finishers offered by Moss (p/n 855-858
on
p.58) & perhaps others? My questions...

Is the shape (profile) like A or B:

   A B
   _ _
  | | |
    | |
    | |
    | |

i.e. does it wrap over the top of the seam and down or just cover the
top?

If a, how thick a seam would it be able to go over/cover? My seam along

the sills may be a bit thicker than standard due to PO repairs... trying
to
decide if this would fit.

Am I correct in recalling that this trim is not original? If so, do you

think it improves the look or is it a cheesy bit flash?

Thanks for info & advice.
