Well, shoot! I thought I would be able to help you until I read your last
sentence. I have 25 year old springs (probably not saggy, but lacking their
tensile strength, and I have new "up-rated" springs from British Parts
Northwest. The up-rated springs are about 1 inch shorter than the stock
ones, but I don't have a measurement here at the office. If I can help,
please let me know.

Subject: TR6 Road springs
Does anyone know what the unloaded length of the Rear TR6 road springs
are? Apparently Ted Schumacher is the ONLY supplier (he supplies the big 3)
for the stock ride height "stiffer" springs, and it seems he has no
immeidiate intention of getting any more made, so that said, I need to find
another avenue for my road springs. I can pull my rear springs out one more
time, but I'm not sure that measuring saggy 30 year old springs will give me
the accurate length of what they should be.
Thanks in advance,
Graham Spencer
