Fw: Locked Steering Problem

Hello List

I need to pick up a 1970 Spitfire from the dreaded previous owner.
Problem is they don't remember where the keys are. Is there some
way to easily (or otherwise) disable the locking steering column?
I would hire a tow truck, but it won't fit in the area the car is stored in.
