Bang on the mark! I would recommend a Brass rod with a hole up the middle to
clear the little point (if they are still there), and do it in a vice with
great care as they will probably be well stuck in and will go with a bit of
a rush Do not try to dismantle the innards unless you can get some springs!
If you find some (the right strength, length and dia) let me know the source
as I have been trying to get some and the only person who has them had them
made to order and is reliant on his monopoly for his trade! (don't blame him
either) Some one was also looking into the possibility of having the innards
from a Bosch injector fitted into the Lucas case as the replacement parts
are not available to repair damaged injectors (pintles and seats)
