Hi Jim!
I am sorry that I do not have a direct answer for you, but I am very
interested in this question because my '6 seems to have the same problem.
The difference is that my buzzer IS disconnected from the harness (the one
under the passenger footwell. Large round connector with at least 8 wires
or so) This was done by the DPO. When I first got my car, I saw the large
round connector under the footwell and reconnected it. This gave me a
constant buzzing, so I pulled it back out and haven't thought about it
since. So my question is, what are the other wires in that harness, and
what are the ramifications of it being unplugged?
Thanks!

Subject: TR6 Seatbelt buzzer
Hello List,
It seems after some number of years of owning my TR6 the seat belt
buzzer has decided to wake up. The seat diaphragm and belt connection
has been disconnected/removed for years with no problem until now.
Needless to say that buzzer is starting really bug me! Disconnecting
the
buzzer isn't as easy as a simple unplug as the unit is integrated into
the
wiring harness.
Anyone know how to solve this problem?
