Ken,

Only alternative I know of is LTL (less than truck load) shipper such as
Roadway Express, Consolidated Freight, Overnite Express, ABF, AF, etc.

If it moves as "auto parts, used, NOI" it will be at a relatively high
freight rate based on this description, the weight and the origin and
destination zip codes.

You can move it cheaper as "scrap metal, NOI" but be assured that if it is
lost or damaged in shipment, you will be reimbursed for "scrap metal".

You can crate it $50-75, or strap it to a pallet $10. Obviously the crate
will afford better protection.

Finally, if you have any friends (;-)_just kidding Ken)...er friends in the
manufacturing or distribution business, they will have discounted freight
rates of up to 72% off the regular walk in the door rates, depending on the
amount they ship.

Let me know if you need any further info on shipping.

RH...trucks are my life....................
