What Shawn is referring to is the 12:1 ported and flow head, race cam, MSD
box, balance and B/P motor of death. It was awesome!!! What was that time
at Stapleton...1:19.2 or something like that, with brand new vettes getting
around at the 1:29 range. It didn't just blow up, it was a full on
annihilation, the water went into the sump, the oil went onto the ground and
there was a piece of valve stuck in the piston top, well what was left of
the piston top. When it flattened out and wedged itself between the head and
block it pretty much destroyed it. I do agree that just bolting up the 2"
won't give much of an advantage but a stock TR6 is undercarbed in a big way
and every little bit helps.
