Folks-
A while back....long ago....I posted about the 250 running hot during
idle and ok during highway driving. Timing was correct, no leaky
headgaskets, proper thermo, fuel pump ok. Two problems contributed to the
heating:
1-bad sending unit.
2-plugged radiator (sides).
Everything is fine now. Mechanic suggested to install a shroud similar to
a TR6 to further improve fan air suction, which I just ordered.
Thanks to the folks who provided continued valued information (last
year).
