Message text written by INTERNET:froggi@cdsnet.net >List, On a 1980 TR8 with carbs, if I install an in-line fuel pump will the pump draw fuel past the inop original pump or, does the original pump go into some sort of "safety" mode when it's not working whereby fuel can not pass thru its internal works; therefore blocking fuel flow to the engine? TIA WFO Herb < You can draw through the in-tank pump unless the in-tank pump is inoperable because it is clogged with rust particles. (Ask me how I know) Dave |
