One picture is worth a thousand words and Bill Piggott's book,  Original 
Triumph TR2/TR3/TR3A, has a lot of pictures and the words to back them up.  
If I had to choose one book for restoration, it would be this book.  You will 
also need a good book on the mechanicals, I have a reprint of the original TR 
repair manual which has been adequate, but a lot of people swear by the 
Haynes manual, if you can find one.
