I had the same problem when I did my wheels, it turned out to be my
technique, if you hold the gun further away it will still stick but not fill
voids with powder, it takes practice. Also degreasing and thorough is
extremely important, pre-heating part can also help.

Subject: Powder Coating / Question
Thanks for all the respondes to Powder Coating. I finally got the courage to
attempt it today.
And, In my restoring my Tr6 this Powder Coating was the hardest for me to
tackle. But after I did my air cleaner cover, I then did everything in
site!!!!!!!!!!!!
I did one of my steel wheels, and had a problem here. There is a seam where
the outer part and inner part of the wheel meet. Here I got some "bubbling"
or powder build up. Any suggestions as to avoid this?
Thanks in advance........
