A friend of mine just bought a 63 TR4 that hasn't run since 1978.  When he
got it home he aired up the tires (which held air), drained the skunky 22,
year old gas, popped in a battery, and feeding fuel to the carbs via a gas
can and an electric fuel pump, started it up.

Now that's a car!

BTW there was some head work done in 1967: 4 cylinder head work - $10.00;
install 8 valve guides - $5.00.
