I don't know about aftermarket, but I always felt the original horns were 
a whole lot more than one would normally expect from a car the size of a 
TR. In other words, in good condition I think the original "wind-tone" 
horns are quite loud.

Having said that, there is a Lawrie Rhoads, 7 Knollwood Rd, Medfield, MA 
02052-2703; ph. 508-359-2077 who restores the Lucas horns "better than 
new!" (his description). I know nothing beyond this, taken from an ad in 
_British Marque Club News_, but perhaps it is worth a call?
