Subject: Post to Triumph list?
To: ArthurK101@aol.com
Hi Art,
This is Alan Myers. I'm visiting family in Colorado and using an old AOL
connection, wonder if you would be so kind to forward this to the list?
Wondering if anyone in Colorado Springs/Denver/Pueblo area has need of a
nearly complete TR4 motor! It is '61 or 62, serial # in the 13,000s. It is
disassembled, has a chunk out of one of the cyl. liners, does not include the
carbs/manifold, rocker arm assembly/pushrods, thermostat housing and oil
filter "can". Pretty much everything else is there, incl. oil pan, rocker
cover (vented 4A style), flywheel, crank, etc. It's in reasonably good shape.
Also a few other TR4 spares: pair of headlight buckets, some bumper
brackets, two trunk frames (one in good shape, the other bent, but could be
straightened).
All "free to a good home" with a lister, unless someone wants to make a
charitable donation to the resto project on CT17602L back in Calif. ;-)
Got to get this out of storage here and am pursuing a couple other methods,
but want to give any Colo. listers who are willing to come get it a shot.
Best way to contact us quickly is at my dad's phone (719) 550-1005. I'll only
be here in Colo Spgs until mid-day Friday, back in San Jose on Monday or
Tuesday & can be contacted there via my usual e-mail there

Thanx for your help Art!
