The "Allard Palm Beach" was a weird car made in England post-war, under
the requirements of the time (English) that everything must be made for
the export market, only (last of the great Mercantilist efforts, ala
1700's!), or you did not get any resources (steel, wiring, etc.)  This
was a specialty frame, etc, and some were powered by Cadillac engines.
There was a V-12 version, that I believe used a pre-war US-built (either
Caddy or Packard) engine.  I don't know too much about them.
