Bill, Remove the fan and shaft extension. Remove the timing cover then pop out the seal with a drift. Replacing the seal is pretty straight forward......just remember that the lip faces external. Replace the tensioner (they're cheap) while you're in there and check the timing chain( the book gives a maximum play of .600" as I recall). Replace if necessary.
