Well, I finished the rebuild on my engine. I was able to run it for a half
minute or so while it was on the engine stand on which it has been sitting
for two years. With all of the compression that it currently has, it did
make the stand jump around a little, a big difference from when I fired it up
before the rebuild. Now it is no longer flying the engine stand. Yesterday
I re-installed it on the chassis along with the tranny. I am now the
official owner of a go cart. I have a lot more work to do, but everything
that I complete from now on will show a significant level of progress.
