Triumph TR 8, Factory Manual, reprint... I just found it in my
storage... a few years ago I bought a friend's TR 8, but decided not to
keep it. It went, but the manual got lost in the shuffle. This was a
NEW manual, but is oneofthe reprints. I had taken it to KINKOS and had
the binding removed... and then had it rebound with a plastic spiral
binding... so that the book would last longer... and, more importantly,
lay FLAT while working on the car... (it was driving me crazy).
Anyways.. I ended up doing little on the car... so the book is like new,
albeit rebound... I'm asking $35.00
Prices do not include shipping. Most will probably be $3.20 domestic.
Please, years ago, when I offered such finds to the group... it was the
cause of many a flame and thread... In the end... the majority spoke...
they were simply happy that I would go through the trouble to find these
books and bring them here. (The opportuntiy cost of time and materials:
fuel/effort to find them, transport them, list them, deal with the
responses, answer questions, etc. , deposit funds, package and post, and
travel to the post office... CLEARLY.. shows that we're talking minimum
wage here guys, if even that..)
The funniest flames were about my prices... with some happy as clams,
and others bitter. Then when everyone went to E-bay to sell such
things... prices went way up... but the flames ended... interesting
to me! Anyways... Here they are... It the price is too high, don't go
for it. Please no flames. I would be better off putting these on
E-bay... but thought I'd just re-live the ol' days before e-bay... and
offer them here.
