I believe the soft top should have female snaps just where the tonneau does.
That's the way mine works, although I can't always get them to snap,
particularly if it's cold.

I remember the five threaded holes being for the soft top. I also know that
I was never able to have the soft top and the tonneau on at the same
time...because my soft top did not have the female portion of the snaps on
the rear of it. However, there was a time that I had the soft top frame out
and was just using the tonneau and the hardtop. My questions are:
>
>1) Are there snaps attached to rear deck of the car for a tonneau and maybe
the holes for these snaps got covered up at the body shop when it was
repainted? If not, is my memory just very faulty and I never had the
tonneau snapped down in the rear when I was using it?

soft top I have came from TRF has the reflective stripes, the zip out rear
window, and came with the snaps needed to snap it down to the rear quarter
panels already attached to it.
