If it has been stood five years, and has been without water or had water
without corrosion inhibitor added it could just be surface rust causing the
leak,I believe the carbon seal is spring loaded to maintain pressure and
will possibly bed in and seal, drive it a while and see if it stops before
spending $lots of.
