Hi Carl, My best advice would be to ask your mechanic the names of a couple machinists in your area. See if any other TR owners in the area have used those machinists and if they are familiar with your type engine. The machinist will check things out for you and let you know what has to be replaced both in the head and block. They'll let you know what to take apart for them and what to leave for their firsthand inspection. Most machinist are craftsmen who take pride in your work as well as theirs. Bill Brockschmidt |
