The TRF performance springs are a Rally spring and will raise the ride
height approximately an inch. (I think it even says that in the parts
description) Used in pairs to increase wheel travel for rough stages.
The Moss springs will lower your ride height about 3/4"-1" (I have these
so I know).
You can't de-arch coil springs. If you cut them to lower the ride
height, they might not fit into the perches correctly and you will make
the spring stiffer. Which will increase the ride harshness over bumps.
Which you may or may not want.
A pair of stock springs should be fine for you. The new ones are made
from a better material than the ones that BL used originally. Those
original springs were known to "sag" early. Also, because of the design
of the rear suspension on a TR6, they will squat under acceleration
anyway. You can lessen this squat with stiffer springs and by playing
with the trailing arm brackets (different combinations). When the
springs "sag" the rear squats even when the car isn't moving.
 Hope this helps.
