Battery for TR6

Dear Listers,
    i'm am ready to purchase a battery for my 76 TR6. i'm interested in
feedback from the group, specifically on the Optima series batteries. i'm
told they are the best on the market and are worth the price (usually around
$125).
    i'd appreciate any input from the group on what to buy, what to stay
away from, etc. thanks...
