LisTR'S: While removing the linkage at engine removal time, the shaft broke inside the Accelerator side recess.at the 'pin'. I've drilled a new hole in the shaft and have attempted safety-wiring (aircraft style) the two parts together, but would prefer an original shaft. Don't really need the accelerator pedal, just the shaft that runs across the firewall. The bushings and the plates are installed and are fine. As always, any help would be welcome! Sherman D. Taffel Columbia, MD '65 TR-4 now 91% restored! |
