Turn it as far as it goes. I don't recall mine falling out but if it does,
there is no problem in reinserting it into the threads.Persuasion may be
needed in the form of a rubber mallet. Also, once out, make sure the
adjuster isn't sticking and thus causing the shoes to stay extended.
